Dale Joe Clark

     Dale Joe Clark, 59, a resident of Richland, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025.

     Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be at Batavia Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

     Dale was born October 27, 1966 in Fairfield, the son of Ralph and Vivian (Batterson) Clark. He married Denise Showman. They later separated.

     Dale worked as a diesel mechanic at Panama Transfer in Richland. He loved being a mechanic, building race cars and working on anything that involved a motor. Dale enjoyed spending time outdoors; and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and beloved dogs.

     Those left to honor his memory include his children, Nathan (Dani) Burk of Lorimor, Iowa, Waylen (Tara) Clark of Batavia, Thomas Clark of Ottumwa, Lexy (Donny Jennings) Cline of Lockridge, and Kali (Colin) Mills of Salem; fiancé, Stacie Barnett of Richland; siblings, Wayne Clark, Steve Clark, Virginia Johnson, Robert Clark, Lisa Copeland, Sherri Ellis, and Michael Clark.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughters, Callie and Erica Clark.
