Curtis M. Connelly, 66, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and mailed to the family at 1547 Olive Ave. Fairfield, Iowa 52556. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family.

     Curt was born June 5, 1959 in Fairfield, the son of R.C. and Joyce (Starr) Connelly. He married Pamela Ehrhardt, February 26, 1977 in Richland.

     Curt owned and operated Connelly, Inc. in Fairfield for 25 years. He enjoyed working on cars, drag racing, motorcycles, and loved orange cars.

     Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Pam; sons, Neal (Lauren) Connelly of Ankeny, and Kyle Connelly of Fairfield; grandchildren, Pierson, Brecken, and Banks; siblings, Steve Connelly, Mary Jean Smith, Scott Connelly, Marvin Connelly, Leon Connelly, and Margaret Ann Techau.

     He was preceded in death by his parents.
