It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Curt E. Schuchman, a devoted husband, father, family man, and friend. 

He shared 45 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Deb. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and lasting memories. 

He had a lifelong passion for fishing. Whether casting a line close to home or making his annual fishing trips to Canada, he found his greatest peace on the water. He also loved firing up the grill and hosting his yearly cookouts, bringing family and friends together to enjoy good food and even better company. 

Known for his quick wit and smart comebacks, he had a way of making people laugh and leaving a smile on their faces. His sense of humor, kind heart, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the stories shared, the traditions he created, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Deb; daughter, Ashley (Joshua) Anderson of Fairfield; and nieces and nephew, Keri, John, and Theresa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Chris.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Behner Funeral Home is caring for Curt and his family.
