Connie Lucille Waugh

            Connie L. Waugh, 77, of Libertyville, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Addington Place in Fairfield. 

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville. Memorials may be made to the family. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family with arrangement.

            Connie was born August 12, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Lucille (Morehead) Schmidt. She married William Waugh, January 27, 1967 in Selma, Iowa. 

            Connie worked for Plexco in Fairfield and Performance Pipe in Bloomfield. She enjoyed going for Sunday drives and watching her grandchildren play softball and basketball. 

            Those left to honor her memory include her husband, William; sons, Troy Waugh and Brad (Melba) Waugh, both of Fairfield; grandchildren, Kenady Story and Tristan Waugh; great-granddaughter, Georgia May Story; and a sister-in-law, Susan Schmidt of Arizona.   

            She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Dennis Schmidt.
