Charlotte Beatrice Nichols

Charlotte B. Nichols, 89, formerly of Fairfield, IA, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua, IA.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 AM, Monday, May 8, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Rev. Bryon Wixom officiated. Burial was in Vernon Cemetery near Bentonsport, IA.

Charlotte Beatrice Nichols was born in Bentonsport, Iowa on October 27, 1916. She was the daughter of Millard F. and Ella Dell (Runyon) Nichols.

Charlotte was a factory worker at J&B Plastics and affiliated with the Methodist Church. She was partial to all pets and animals and had a green thumb when it came to gardening.

Survivors include two sisters: Mrs. Lena Hughes and Mrs. Leota Etka, both of Keosauqua, IA, as well as nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Myrtle Frank and Minnie Wallace and two brothers: Everett Nichols and August Nichols.
