Charles Person

Charles Arthur Fleek Person, 54, a resident of Fairfield, passed away alongside his wife, Amanda, as the result of an automobile accident in Washington County, Iowa. 

A Celebration of Life for Amanda and Charles will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Behner Funeral Home, 203 S. Main St. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Charles was born August 30, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of Craig, Sr. and Mary (Thomas) Person. He married Amanda Johnson, August 31, 2006.

Throughout his life, Charles drove semi-truck, worked for Dexter Laundry, and Finney Autobody. He enjoyed watching Central Empire Wrestling matches, spending time with his family, and bowling. He loved his pug dogs. 

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Victor and Taylor Person; father, Craig Person, Sr.; siblings, Shannon (Eric) Grauel, Kristine Mark, Cheyenne Keiffer, and Craig Person, Jr. 

He was preceded in death by his mother.
