Brenda Kay Evans

Brenda Kay Evans age 53 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Allen Medical Center in Waterloo, IA.

Visitation for family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Behner Funeral Home

Brenda was born June 4, 1968, in Fairfield to Jerry and Linda (Coffin) Fitzgerald.  She married Robert Evans on July 27, 1990.

Brenda attended Central College and later worked in housekeeping at MIU.   Brenda was a loving person, huge heart, and kind soul.  She was a wonderful wife and extraordinary mother.  Brenda loved reading, especially Danielle Steel books.  Some of Brenda’s favorite TV shows was Food Network, Forged in Fire, Chopped and any other cooking show.  She collected stuffed animals and was a Patriots and Panther team’s fan. Brenda enjoyed playing Genshin Impact and Tera video games

Brenda will be missed by her husband, Robert; two children, Dawna and Jerry; her father, Jerry; siblings, Shirley (Marty) Rainbolt, Donna (Curtis) Smith and Patsy Peiffer; and nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Linda; son, William; and brother-in-law, Anthony Peiffer.
