Brenda Lee Cook-Manchester

Brenda Lee Cook – Manchester, age 62 of Douds, passed away holding the hand of her beloved husband of 32 years William Dean “Bill” Manchester.

Private graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Fell Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital and mailed to William Manchester, 15850 120th Street, Douds, Iowa 52551.

Brenda was born January 4, 1958, to Elmer “Jr.” and Dorothy (Ehret) Cook. Some of her interests were playing Yahtzee and doing crossword puzzles.  Most important to Brenda was spending time with her family.  No matter what time of day she was always there for family and friends.  Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.  She had 8 children, Autumn, Patchouli, Brandi, Jessica, Mandy, Michael , Joe, Buck and honorary son Justin. 13 grandchildren, and siblings: Terry, Randy, Dovie and Mickie.    Brenda had a heart of gold, her kindness and optimistic, spunky attitude will leave an everlasting impact on those who were lucky enough to know her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her dad, Elmer “Jr.” Cook.
