Betty June Hunerdosse

Betty June Hunerdosse, age 73 of Fairfield passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at her home.

Visitation for family & friends will be 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Monday, September 12, 2016 at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, IA.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Nazarene Church, Fairfield, IA with Pastor Howard Innis officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

Betty was born June 5, 1943 in Burlington, IA to Otis and Bessie (Morrison) Stufflebeam. She married Robert Hunerdosse April 18, 1987 in Fairfield, IA. This year they celebrated 29 years of marriage.

Betty was raised in Bunch, IA and graduated from Bloomfield High School with the class of 1960. She lived 35 years in the Fairfield area. Some of Bettys jobs were working at Jefferson County Public Health, Jefferson County Hospital and retired working at Nelsons Nursing Home. Betty enjoyed cooking pumpkin bread, working crossword puzzles, watching The Andy Griffith Show, listening to Gospel Music, attended First Church of Nazarene, taking the Twilight Cruise down the Mississippi and most of all spending time with kids and grandkids.

Betty is survived by her husband, Bob Hunerdosse of Fairfield, IA; two daughters, Teresa Morales of Baxter, IA and Julie McKay of Olds, IA; two sons, Rich Hunerdosse of Des Moines, IA and Joe Hunerdosse of Spring Hill, KS; 8 grandchildren, Matthew Richard, Alex Richard, Samantha McKay, Tyler Richard, Josie Hunerdosse, Alyssa Hunerdosse, Ivan Hunerdosse and Abby Hunerdosse; two great grandchildren, Eowyn Richard and Merrick Richard; and one brother William Stufflebeam.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Bessie Stufflebeam; and one sister, Alice Helmick Stufflebeam.
