Barbara Ann (Gaalaas) Doyle, 86, of Fairfield, died January 14, 2018 at Parkview Manor in Wellman, Iowa.
Per Barb's wishes, her body has been cremated.
Visitation for family & friends will be 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Frist Presbyterian Church with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Joseph Phipps officiating.

Mrs. Doyle was born August 3, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Percy and Grace Gaalaas. She married Neil Charles Doyle June 29, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MN.
The Doyles moved to Fairfield in 1962 where Mrs. Doyle was a homemaker and active member of the local PEO chapter, the First Presbyterian Church, and volunteered with county-wide voter registration for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and participating in the activities of her children.
Survivors include: Deborah (Michael) Schmidt of Glenwood, IA; Patrick (Debbe) Doyle of Fairfield; Kevin (Deb Mapes)Doyle of Watertown, MA; Dennis (Christine) Doyle of Pella, IA; and Peggy (Scott) Waters of Iowa City, IA; six grandchildren: Alissa Ward, Kathleen Boatright, Eric Schmidt, Scott Schmidt, Andrew Doyle and Meredith Doyle; six great-grandchildren: Benett Boatright, Brice Boatright, Balen Boatright, Elliott Ward, Delaney Ward and Maria Schmidt; and one sister Peggy (Bruce) Johnson of Manchester, CT. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
