Mona Sue Howard, age 70, passed away at the Jefferson County Health Center on Sunday, June 24, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Four Square Gospel Church with Rev. Jim Cecil officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Four Square Gospel Church, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Diabetes Foundation or Four Square Gospel Church. Cards and memorials can be sent to 1826 Libertyville Rd. Libertyville, Iowa 52567.

Mona Sue was born May 1, 1942 in Fairfield, to Fredrick “Buss” and Frances Lorrain Miller Turner. She married Gary Howard in Fairfield on July 15, 1962.

She was a housewife and enjoyed camping, dogs and shopping.

Mona Sue is survived by her husband: Gary of Fairfield, 2 children: Zena Beth (Chuck) Leonard and Jeremy (Betty) Howard, 5 grandchildren: Kellsie Chalkey, Koltin Leonard, Kassie Howard, Sydney Howard and Turner Howard, 1 great granddaughter and 1 sister: Crystal (Gary) Reneker.
