Karen Lou Stump age 75, of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Sunnybrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Fell Cemetery South of Libertyville, Ia., with Pastor Peg Ellingson Officiating.

Open visitation will be from  9:00 to 12:00 on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Karen Lou Stump was born March 2, 1937 in Libertyville, Iowa to Lester Clyde and Bernice F. Taylor Rodibaugh. She married Gerald "Gene" Stump on September 9, 1961 in Fairfield, Iowa. He died on November 4, 1996.

Karen was a life long resident of Libertyville. She graduated with Libertyville High School class of 1955. Karen was a homemaker and was secretary to the mayor. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and helped manage the senior citizens Apartments.

Karen is survived by 2 brothers: Ronald Rodibaugh of Searsboro, Iowa and Steve Rodibaugh of Libertyville, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother: Jerry Rodibaugh.
