Judy Mathes age 71 of Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away April 20, 2012 at Serenity House in Oskaloosa.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday April 24, 2012 at the Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield, Iowa with Pastor Ed Parker Officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, Ia. 
 
Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Suburban Heights Baptist Church. Cards and memorials can be sent to 1393 Hwy 92 Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577.

Judith  was born February 3, 1941  in Fairfield, Iowa to Wilson and Madeline Turner Parker. She married Chester "Chet" Mathes on December 7, 1986 in Littleton, Co.

Judy graduated from Fairfield, High School Class of 1958. She worked as a legal secretary and was a homemaker, her hobbies and interest included bowling, and spending time with family and friends. Judy was a member of the Professional Secretary Assoc. 

Judy is survived by her husband Chet Mathes of Oskaloosa, Ia. 1 son and 1 daughter and families; Julia (Bob) Fisher of Littleton, Co. and Jay (Jackie) Black of Rolfe, Ia. Stepchildren Brenda (Trent) Brooks of Great Falls , Montana, Brian (Michelle) Mathes of Oskaloosa, Ia.  siblings, Ed (Karen) Parker of Fairfield, Debi (Doug) Ayer of Fairfield, Mike (Catrina) Parker of Fairfield, 1 brother inlaw Kermit Leppert, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren 1 step great grandson. 

Judy was preceded by her parents, and 1 sister Patty Jo Leppert.
